Parking lot roadrage

Is it me, or does it seem like everyone rushes into the parking lot and speeds to the front first parking spaces?  Why do we as American need to have the first few parking spaces to ourselves?  America is fat as it is.  It wouldn't hurt to walk an extra 100 feet.  A lot of people need it too.  So why is it we race to the first spot in the parking lot?  Also, who has the right to give fat people handicap tags?  Seriously?  They need to walk.  Has America got that lazy that we need to park as close as we can so that we don't have to walk?  My grandfather was handicap from a hip replacement.  He was able to park in the handicap spot and had to use a cane to crutch around.  He said stores are getting bigger to the point where like in the cartoon Jettsons, Americans will be scootered around stores and not walk.  This is a sign of a lazy America and I hate it.  We need to work out more, walk to places more, and eat healthier more.
