shopping buggies

I went to Sam's Club today.  Upon getting out of my truck, i noticed that there was three sets of shopping buggies.  One set had 4 rows and the other two had 3 rows.  I counted the row of 4 buggies.  There was 51 in a single row.  Now lets do some simple math.  51 multiplied by 4 is?? yes 204 plus 51 multiplied by 3 is 153 multiplied by 2 is 306. so add 204 plus 306 and you get what?  YES 510 buggies in the parking lot!! thats probably 5 buggies for every parking place; or 3 buggies for every  person shopping at Sam's Club.

My question is, WHY DOES SAM'S CLUB NEED SO MANY SHOPPING BUGGIES?
